I was at the Nordstrom at Pentagon City in VA to check out the new MbyMJ handbags and noticed they had what looks like mini groovees. I know in the MbyMJ Fall 2009 show last week there was a similiar looking handbag, but didn't know there were some out already. Here are some pictures I look. I was carrying my black groovee so was able to take comparison shots. Tried to take them as discretely as possible so people wouldn't wonder what I'm doing. I believe these are priced at $350.

They are so cute! The shoulder strap looks a little too long for the bag but otherwise it is adorable! I want one!

Yes the hardware is silver. The one from the Fall 2009 show looks like it has gold/brass hardware. The leather is like the one I have, not the thin leather of last season. I also agree that the shoulder strap is too long for the smaller size. If I had one, I would take it off.

Is that Saddle or Nice Tan? ..... i was hoping he would bring out the colors from the first season of Groovees like the Bordeaux since in the show it looked like he was showing the Chocolate color.
i'm excited. The mini Groovees are adorable !

does anyone know when these will become available to all stores? im really short, so bags always look bulky and overbearing.. i love this size!

I actually saw all three of these colors IRL yesterday, and that brownish color looked like neither saddle nor nice tan to me. It was more orangeish to be a true brown hue, so I think it's a whole new color.

The leather isn't like the first season Groovees, but it is nice - not like the lambskin of the thinner leather Groovees but much more pebbled and soft.

They should be trickling in, shorti. Have you tried calling your local Nordstrom? If you want to do a charge send, I saw all three colors at the SF Nordstrom in Arden Fair yesterday.
