I have been in love with the MBMJ animal wristlets since they have been out. I have been noticing that they are harder and harder to find (ShopBop.com, Zappos.com is sold out etc). I haven't pulled the trigger yet because $98 seems awfully steep for just a little wristlet (really, a CP!). Can anyone who owns them give some insight into their value, utility, etc.? (Basically, some enabling is in order...

)

I almost bought myself the Mouse, but realized that (1) it was smaller than I had thought and (2) wasn't exactly the color I'd hope for (I thought it was grey, but it's actually brown) - I'm still thinking about getting an Owl, but like you have a hard time justifying the near $100 price tag

i have the owl, and i think it's great. after work and on the weekends, i shove my debit card, iphone, and lip smacker in there and go. you can definitely use it for much more than just change. they're bigger than you think. the leather is super soft. mostly, i just think it's cute and quirky.

Did you know there is also a key ring/pouch version? Its around $60 and if I remember correctly it would fit maybe a lipbalm, $$, change, a CC, etc.

^no, but I know Bloomies in south coast plaza has quite a few of the purple/pink heart shaped pouches. i believe they're around $60 or $68...can't remember.
