yeah, that's always how i inevitably end up feeling whenever i buy a mbmj bag. it's pretty, i like it, but i never love it and rarely get as excited about it as i do my mainline bags, then they eventually get sold. i purged my entire collection of mbmj bags about two years ago, and i haven't bought one since. i prefer the clothes for myself and the bags on other people.

I couldn't have said it better. It's the feeling when you're carrying one.
I carry mine with everything - jeans, t-shirts, sweats, everything.

I like the MJ collection bags but I really like some of the MBMJ wallets.

I definitely prefer the collection bags. For me, it's all about personal style and my personal style is to always have a super fab, classy bag no matter what I am doing or where I am going. I'm that girl at a baseball game, supermarket, or gym with her MJ. It's the style I own... or rather owns me!

I feel like MJ owns me too, but I am still stuck on mbmj. I am learning a lot from you ladies though. can you recommend a MJ bag for a stay at home mom always in sweats? reasonable price?

^^^ why don't you try the Lisa or Angela? They're both great "throw and go" bags and you don't have to worry about chains and other doo dads hanging off.

those are two great suggestions not to mention how light they are and so easy to wear. throw it over your shoulder and forget about it. perfect for moms: utilitarian without sacrificing style or comfort.

I agree, Nas. I keep looking at some of the MBMJs because so many folks dote on them. But I keep coming back to my MJ and I carry them with all kinds of clothes. Heck! If I waited until I was dressed up to carry my stams, they'd be gathering dust in my closet!

I like the classic MJ collections. Not a big fan with the newer styles while I feel the opposite about MbMJ. I didn't like their earlier stuff. This was waaaay back before they got huge with the turnlock styles. Lately I have been liking MbMJ more and the price doesn't hurt either.

I like both, but do definitely prefer the MJ collection bags. I find that I have fallen in love with each of my MJ collection bags, and I just don't love the MbMJ bags a much or as often as the collection bags...

I like both. As long as it passes my hug test I'll take it home with me.

(Hug test = if I pick it up and hug it and won't let go, even while browsing some more in the store)

I love all my small MJ collection bags and use them all the time. My larger MJ bags hardly see the light of day. I love the look of them but just find them too heavy for me.

For airports, shopping trips etc. I always use my MbMJ Eyelet Hobo or Posh JJ (?). I love the fact that they are so big but light, really stylish and lovely to touch.

In short, I can't choose!
