Marc Jacobs - Spare Parts / Repairs?

Hi all,

I have recently bought a Marc Jacobs Classic Grovee Q bag and noticed that one of the studs is missing from the long shoulder strap, does anyone know where i can get it repaired please?

I found a thread on here that i did post on but didnt get a reply so thinking it was now inactive.

MJ repairs won't do it if the bag is older than 18 months (not to mention that they've been sort of a mess to deal with lately). If I were you, I'd try to find a good cobbler/leather repair shop and see what they can do. Good luck.

You can try the repairs department but like Nikki said, it would probably be easier/faster to find someone else to do it. I forget what the stud looks like but I think it's fairly basic, isn't it? A hardware or art supply store might have one, too.

where's my bag?!
I'm curious too about spare parts. I don't suppose I could contact someone at the "Repair Dept" for a replacement chain with the leather pad for my Stams?

I only had my classic q baby groovee for about 4 months and I started noticing two tiny tears on the inside near the pockets :/
tah8204, did you have any issues with your interior lining as well? I just emailed the repairs dept with photos. Hopefully, they can do something. I've only had the purse for almost 8 months.

They do have a spare parts department - but good luck, I have been trying to get 2 studs since September and they keep sending me the wrong ones and claiming that they are the correct ones even though I have sent them several pictures of the ones in the bag! Frustrating!

Letran - they sent me through the policy yesterday - apparently the lining is not under warranty.

Yeah, unfortunately, they told me the same thing. I'm very disappointed that this bag cost me $378 before tax and was made so poorly. I don't carry much in my bag, only a wallet, chapstick, hand sanitizer and the occasional hair ties.
