Mags, Nordstrom is the only major department store with Price Protection Policy (they will not be undersold on a currently available item in the same style, size, and color). For other stores, it really depends on the store manager and their policy.

True that many of the items went on sale at big department stores since. Past season items are full price at MJ boutiques.

Hi there
I'm looking for a satchel/handheld style in tapioca. I saw the post on the butter - is that the same color? I just lost out on an ebay one - pocket satchel in tapioca and I'm bummed but it was not in great shape and I'd rather pay more for a good one. I saw someone carrying a venetia in tapioca and now I am completely obsessed.

Tapioca and Butter are different colors. I called MJ boutique for you, I'm told that tapioca Pocket Satchel's sold out in the company (MJ boutiques). I hope you can find it in the near future, good luck. =)

A few days ago I called most of the NMLC stores trying to find past season bags with silver hardware. Most of the stores had the small multipocket bags and sophias, but for the person looking for something in tapioca the Tempe, AZ store described a bag to me over the phone as as tapioca multipocket.

akat...I know Saks Bala Cynwood has a multipocket in tapioca..You should call Damian (highly recommended) and ask him what's in stock...610-667-1550 ext 258...He'll do a search for you in inventory if he doesn't have what you want...Good luck!!!!

There are at least 2 versions of Tapioca: Resort 2004 is more yellow than Resort 2006 (off-white); there's a good chance that you can find Venetia or Blake in Resort 06's Tapioca. Unless sold out, boutiques keep Venetia/Blake. in past season colors, other styles (seasonal and/or less popular) are sent away (assuming that's the case with Pocket Satchel, no longer available in any boutiques).

Thank you so much, bag.lover! I've been on a whirlwind MJ educational spree, bringing myself up to speed before purchasing my first MJ. Sadly, it looks like the tapioca I fell in love with is the yellow one from years ago. I wish I had known that a few days ago before the ebay auction I was bidding on ended! Oh well. Anyway, I went an "tried on" a few MJs at my local Neiman Marcus and I've figured out that I'm too small (5'1") to carry off the Venetia and Stam gracefully. So I've decided I'll probably look at the Elise and Blake. Many thanks again for all your help. Btw, I *did* track down a tapioca Blake but I'm quite sure it is the newer off-white tapioca ... So ... the hunt continues ...

Does anyone know what other colors the quilted blake ever came in? I asked on the "authenticate this" forum, and thithi posted the following colors: hazelnut, orange, emerald, mouse, white chiffon, and whiskey, along with black and ivory.

However, am wondering if there are any others in addition to this. In particular, does anyone know what colors existed before the 2006 S/S and F/W collections?
