I wouldnt quite call this a teaser, but I am forcing you to read my Marc Jacobs Bag-ography before I post any pics

:

About a year ago Marc Jacobs bags began to turn my head. During that year, I hadn't really made any bag purchases and nothing Coach was releasing really excited me anymore

I was not familiar with Marc Jacobs bags at all, and any prior research I had done was frustrating because there was so much to learn about. I began to hang out here in the Marc Jacobs forum where I learned SO much and shortly thereafter acquired my very first Marc Jacobs Collection bag (S/S 07 Ivory PW Venetia)! Around the same time, while surfing through the Celebrities/MJ bags thread, I fell in

with another bag... and soon learned this bag was NOWHERE to be found. No one that I know of owned it on tPF and closeup photos were more scarce than an Intelligent comment made by Paris Hilton.

While I had this bag in the back of my mind, a few other bags got my attention along the way. In the last 12 months, I had added two more Holy Grail bags to my list, and eventually obtained them! They were the Bordeaux Blake (Fall07)

which I found this past February and the Topaz Stam (Resort 06) which I managed to score in April- both NWT. Along with those, I also added about 5 or 6 more bags, 2 wallets/zc, 3 clutches, and a key pouch.

Fast forward to this Fall: By this time, I've introduced two of my best friends to the world of Marc Jacobs. One-who introduced me to tPF in 2006, got her first collection bag (the Klein) this summer, and a ZC recently. The other just purchased a MBMJ Faridah and MJ E/W tote 2 weeks ago! And I myself am FINALLY done with revising my HG list! There will be NO MORE adding bags to my Watchlist because there is NOTHING else than can overcome the excitement and satisfaction of finally obtaining the ONE bag that I've been pining over for a year!! ...Plus I got another lil somethin to go along with it

I thought I would have to wait until Christmas to pick up this Beauty and basically SIT on my hands to not spill the beans here til then

... But my friend who found it for me SURPRISED me by Shipping it down and I received it a day earlier than expected!

So... without further ado, and NO teasers (because alot of you already know what my HG is).... I am pleased to share with you my Holy Grail of ALL HOLY GRAILS:
