Default how often should I condition my leathers?
I have had my groovee in the pebbled leather for about 3 weeks now.. and the day I got her I conditioned her all over.. I was just curious as too how often should I condition her?

thank you.

I don't want to over condition her if that's even possible.. and with this texas heat i'm just afraid the leathers gonna start turning.. :(

you can actually find a lot info regarding leather care & conditioning here:
Marc Jacobs FAQs

as for how often, thats really up to you and/or how much the bag needs it
some people condition everyday, others once a week, while some people never condition their bags

i agree with jj, how often will depend on your preference really.

i will condition one of my only when it starts to feel dry, lose luster, or if i need to buff out any scratches/marks. i definitely don't have a schedule or anything.

i think this is a great question - hopefully more ladies will answer and we can add this to the FAQs section

i condition my bags before i put them away. also, if there's spots on them.

question, how do you get scratches off with conditioner? i have a few and i try and try but it wont go away. do you really soak it with the conditioner and really rub it in?

it all depends on how large and/or deep the scratch is.
if its a surface scratch or scuff, you can usually smooth these away with a few applications of conditioner (even gently rubbing the flat part of your thumb/forefinger will also work, with the natural oils in your skin smoothing over the leather). the more often you apply the conditioner, the sooner the scuff/scratch will smooth away

if it's a much larger scratch thats deep into the leather, that may be more difficult or almost impossible to do yourself

yep, what iluvmybags said

light scuffs/marks can sometimes be buffed away but if they are too deep, you prob won't be able to do much about it.
