Hi everyone - I was out at an event today and I think my sister's black leather jacket rubbed on my bag and transfered the color. I've tried everything, a dab of nail polish remover, vaseline, shout wipe, leather cleaner, mr. clean magic eraser, and none of it seems to be working (none of it is making it worse, either.) I am so upset. I love this bag so much but now I want to sell it because it's painful to look at. is there anything I can do?

try taking it to a cobbler. maybe they can paint over it or they might have some type of chemical they can use to remove it. sorry this happened to you. is this the yellow clutch? i think i have the same bag.

yes, it's the yellow clutch :( thanks for the advice. i think i've made it a little better with my at-home treatments but it probably needs a professional.

Awww... that is sad.
Since you have already used other high risk items on it...have you tried a Magic Eraser? I am amazed at some of the wonders those little buggers can accomplish!

Did you try vinegar? I read that was good to use on patent leather....
