if you're referring to the s/s 09 metallic gold, then it's pretty bright. personally, i would say it's too bright for me. as a small accessory, it looks great. on a stam, it's almost too much, but it really comes down to what you'd be comfortable carrying.

It is not subtle at all. It is in-your-face bright - but still pretty. I would carry one, but DH says it is too "out there."

I agree with tad. It looks good on smaller items, but on the Stam I thought it was a bit too blingy for me personally.

i agreed with others, small accessories are great for POP UP effect, stam would be little overwhelming, if you are really looking for something in gold and stam like design, there's one THE KID on bonanzle for sales now, please have it authenticate to make sure

I also think it's pretty "blingy" and "loud."
Last season I really wanted a Small Single and the only color our store had left was gold and I tried for the longest time to convince myself that I could pull it off, but no matter how many times I looked at myself in the mirror, I just couldn't see myself carrying it as an everyday, casual bag (which is what I wanted the Single for). It would have made a GREAT evening bag, but not to carry up to the gas station or grocery store!! (Unless I happened to wearing an evening gown at the time!!)

Here are a couple of pics from the celeb section of the gold stam

If you have any hesitation at all about it being too intense, I would say it's definitely not the bag for you - - It's a bag you have to totally rock and feel confident doing so, or you will just end up not carrying it......

On a 1-10 scale of Holy Brightness, Batman - the Gold Stam is at like a 12. This is not a bad thing but it is BLANG BLANG to the max.
