Thank you shop2drop1, tigertrixie, louch, luvpurses24, mischa, and tadpolenyc!

Still wondering if anyone has any further advice or recs on protecting this beauty? I am afraid to use it without treating it...

OP, can you help me with my confusion? I've seen both the Dr. Q Groovee pictured with both the plaid lining and a b&w logo lining (yours is WAY cuter). Are they different seasons, or do I have the wrong ID on one of them?

^^I am no expert, but I know this bag has been produced for different seasons, so that's probably it!

I read over the MJ care sections, but what do you ladies recommend I treat this beauty with? Does anyone have this particular bag and if so have you treated yours? The leather is on the lighter side, and I think will scratch easily, so I am a little scared to use it w/out treating it. Should I treat the handles with FHO?
I have the same bag, dr.Q in white. I havent had any problems, but I think tan may show the scratches more just because of the natural color of leather. You will love this bag! I own many designer bags that cost a lot more and this is one of my favorites!

Thanks for the info dlynn! I just ordered some Apple Rain and Stain, so I am going to wait to use her until I get it and can treat it. I really don't mind minimal scratches from the use factor, as I feel like it gives the bag character. I am more worried about stains as I have two young children, and you never know what they are gonna get into, or throw at me (not literally of course)...and I don't really baby my bags either.

Love the LC bag! The leather looks so soft and smooshy and I love the lining and twisted handles! Congrats!

as far as leather conditoners and protectant, i've used KIWI rain/water stain spray stuff (like a waterproofer-stain protector) which you can get at rite-aid or target...and then i like cadillac leather conditioner

Congratulations! I've used Cadillac (you can purchase it at Nordstrom for around $5 - such a deal!) on all my MbMJ bags, and they've all responded to it well.
