I'm not as familiar with this style, so you'll have to wait for another opinion. I would suggest asking for the underside of the zipper heads and the name stamp.

Sorry, not a dumb question...

MII stands for "Made In Italy" in this style, it should be on a leather tab inside the inner zippered pocket.
