hi! i am looking to purchase my first marc jacobs bag and i *love* the stam. i was wondering if someone could tell me if this stam is real?? i need to know soon!

lol I was looking @ this too. I am 95% sure its real pending the seller provide a better photo of the MJ interior plaque and the "Made in italy" stamp. For whatever reason pics of these always make me feel better

when buying on eBay.

I don't recall seeing that many well done fakes in this style and also their feedback is pretty good.

yes it does. It was either a Saks or Neimans exclusive/ltd. edition (it's so hard to keep up) but I don't remember the season.

The last 3 are fakes. The leather seems too smooth. The leather texture on the real bowlers appear to be more crinkly. See picture below, i took a closeup of the chalk bowler. On your first link, the pics are too small to tell. Also, price seems too good to be true for a NWT bowler. The Coach bathing suit she's selling seems fake too, at least from the font on the bag.

The last green green one is completely FAKE. The 'Marc Jacobs' engraving below the pushlock is totally off.

Hello! I have been seeing some MJ bags on eBay which have a black tag in the inner zippered pocket with a code on it. Does this make the bags fake? The other details are consistent with real bags? I have had people tell me that the tags are in newer real bags such as the Selma and the Carmen. Also, can suede lined bags have an inner zippered pocket that is not suede but lined in canvas? Thank you so much and any help would be appreciated!!!!

That is the MJ Lola that came out in 2004 (spring?? someone correct me if i'm wrong) i believe. It comes with an umbrella.
