I think she might be misunderstanding the question. A lot of sellers don't realize that we're asking for the manufacturer of the zipper which is located on the underside of the zipperhead. Did you ask her specifically to look under the zipperhead? She might be confusing your question with the engraving on the zipper pull.

the add'l pic does not help really. You need to ask her for better pics of the hardware, zipper pull and inside plaque. Those suggestions are a general rule of thumb for all MJ bags as that is where it is easiest to spot fakes.

Safin1, I would be careful. There is no reason for the seller to get defensive with you just for trying to figure out if the bag is authentic or not. She should be more than happy to reassure you. Also, what she told you about Lampo zippers on Balenciaga bags sends up a red flag because it shows she knows how/where to spot the zipper brand on those bags and yet can't/won't find it on this bag.

You can just never know with eBay so it's better to err on the side of caution. Just my two cents!

Thanks. I decided to not bid on this bag. She did get defensive about the whole zipper issue. Maybe it's cuz I sent her two messages about the zipper. She also would not provide me with a picture of the bag standing. She said it doesn't stand up because the leather is soft. I have not asked her anymore questions. Thanks for everyone's help!

wow, looks pretty good to me. the clutch looks accurate and the stam seems to match the new 2006 version(ie canvas interior, same hardware, calfskin leather, bottom stitching is lined up perfectly). this person has a lot of negative feedback but unrelated to selling replicas. I'm stumped. I think we need a more opinions to confirm.

Both definitely look authentic and they have good payment and return policies. Only possible problem is that these are not pics of actual items -but that is a chance you take with eBay. Since they let you pay with paypal at least you are protected!
