Another vote for using cotton wool pads - one for each eye. I've found organic cotton wool pads to be much softer and less scratchy than the non-organic ones, so I always use those :)

I wash my face with DHC cleansing oil so I don't have a separate makeup removing step. The cleansing oil melts it off. I just use my hands to rub the oil into my face and I do my eye area last gently making circular motions with my fingers over my eyes consentrating on my lashes. It does the trick quickly and easily.

I use lancome bi-facil as well. BEST THING EVER lol. Ok so I'll try to explain... I dont wipe "sideways" first because it gets it all over your face. I apply to a cotton and pull outwards ( as if I were to pull my lashes out) but VERY gently. I basically place the cotton under my lashes and wipe. Then after i get the majority off i wipe to the side and whatever is left i use a q-tip for. This is the only way I get it all off.

Hope my explanation is helpful, sorry I'm not the best at explaining this!

I apply my EMR with my fingers, rub gently then wash off with a wash cloth.

I use Ponds makeup-removing wipes when I don't wear mascara (most days I just wear eyeliner and a little shadow). They're very gentle, so I can wipe my waterlines with them and not irritate my eyes.

When I do wear mascara, I put cold cream on a round cotton pad, apply the cold cream around my eye, wait a few seconds, then wipe clean and repeat on other eye. After that I use the makeup-remover wipes mentioned above to take off any excess cold cream and leftover eye makeup and to clean the makeup off the rest of my face. After that, I use my Clarisonic.

Wow, I'll have to try the cotton pads since I always use cotton balls. I sometimes use q-tips for leftover smudges after I use the cotton balls.

If I use liquid remover, I pour it on a wash cloth while I'm in the shower... I love the Lancome stuff cause it smells like rose petals and is super gentle.

But, overall I prefer the Neutrogena make up remover cleansing towelettes... then I just gently place it on my eye and let the moisture soak into my makeup and then I wipe gently until it's all off! Love them!

i realized that the cotton pad is really important too, i use the lancome make-up remover too and these shiseido cotton pads, one wipe and its off! and just wipe again just incase. one pad for both eyes! and i use lancome mascara, lots of layers and it comes off easily.

I also use the ALMAY round pads and can not live with out them! I wear waterproof mascara, eye liner and shadow, and I have contacts. Nothing else has removed all my make up like this. They are greasy though so I just use em in the shower and use dove soap after the remover.

Pharmagel Hydra Cleanse removes all makeup including my eye makeup. I wear both eyeliner and mascara. This is a cream cleanser and is pretty amazing. I get it at my local beauty supply house (have a license).

i use Korres Milk Cleanser to wash my face, and that also removes my eye makeup (BB gel eyeliner and kiehls mascara). i just rub the cleanser over my eyes, and that emulsifies the makeup so it rinses off with water.

I like using jojoba oil - gentle, great for lashes, non-irritating.
