Hi, ladies! I need some help! I have super oily skin, and I'm looking for a good primer that will help keep the oil at bay and help my makeup last longer too. I currently use Estee Lauder Double Matte foundation and powder along with a primer, but I still get oil breakthrough during a normal day at work.
I've tried quite a few different primers, and most just don't really get the job done for me. Here are a few of the major/well known ones I've tried:
-
Sephora Smoothing/Mattifying primer- works ok, but doesn't seem to combat oil for too long on me. I do like how it makes my skin feel very soft though, and my makeup just glides on when I use this stuff.
-Smashbox PhotoFinish Light- seems to make my pores more noticeable, and isn't too great at controlling oil.
-
Sephora Anti-Shine Primer- just recently purchased this one, and WILL be sending it back. It seems to literally "grab" my foundation, and makes it very, very hard to blend evenly.
So what should I try next? It definitely has to be oil-free, because the last thing I need to do is add any extra oil to my face.
Thanks in advance!
