The Revlon brand color was not as intense, smudged, and came off with water. The E.L.F. brand is so much better. The color is darker, little to no smudge and did not come off with water alone. I love it!
Yes, their cream eyeliner is the best! I've tried the gel liners from Bobbi Brown, MAC, MUFE, Lancome, YSL and e.l.f cream liner in the pot ($3) is the only one that I could wear without it smudging, fading or running. Who knew my search for the perfect liner would end with elf!?

I am loving their mineral eye shadows! I bought 3 sets at Target and so far, they last for a long time and blend really well.

How hard is the elf to remove? I've had some with great staying power, but then issue with some being almost impossible to remove.
Thank you :)

No I don't find it hard to remove. I use Almay make up remover. However, the day after I posted about how the liner doesn't smudge, I went to my friends house and it was 100 degrees and I did have slight raccoon eyes :( The liner couldn't stand up to the heat.

I love the ELF Primer, Contour Blush Studio kit, eyebrow kit (all times favourite, can't live without it!), translucent powder, waterproof eyeliners, essentials lipstick... and counting

is e.l.f. cosmetics really good? This is a popular makeup brand. Many people like this but many people don't also... I commonly heard about this on youtube vloggers, ranting about not to buy elf. yeah, it's cheap and wanna try another product from them aside from the trio eyeshadow that almost gave me a sore eye.

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. I have not had that experience yet. I also have not been in very hot weather...yet. I love black liner and am always searching for the perfect brand! Do you use primer, make up, or moisturizers around your eyes before applying the liner? That may have something to do with it.

Off topic, but I have dry skin so I put moisturizer, moisturizing concealer, liquid foundation, then setting foundation around my eyes. By evening my eyes would burn and I just realized that I was applying too much around my eyes.

Its hit or miss. Depends on what you want & your expectations. I suggest you read reviews on their website about the particular item you are interested in and also youtube. I have only tried the cream liners and the lip glosses and I really like those. The price is so cheap that I figure if I don't like something I can just give it to a friend. My $3 cream eyeliner works better for me than the $9 Revlon brand. and the $3 lipgloss is very similar to the Stilla brand. Good luck.

Thanks, I'd probably try their blush on and lip gloss.

I actually love their concealers and nailpolishes. Also discovered the mineral eyeshadows and was very pleasantly surprised

I've always been more into the high end makeup lines, however ELF was a pleasant surprise! They have something like an ELF BAR at certain Targer Stores. I love this display! I don't wear much colored shadows but I have all of the little beauty books, and I ordered a few brushes. They are the best. It's a very small price to try them out to see what you like and dont like.

I used to buy a lot of elf since it was so cheap and I needed some essentials like their brushes which I still use today but the products to me are either a hit or miss.

I love elf cosmetics. I am a huge fan of their dollar eyeliner. But honestly the only reason I use it is because I use a decent eyeshadow primer.
