Yes... it's quite heavy - especially with the water bottle!

I used a very simple dslr and a 50mm lens (both: Canon).
I've experienced that it depends more on the lighting than on the camera. I often use a 3 MP Kodak camera and I'm always very satiesfied with the result. I suggest that you'll buy a camera with mostly optical (not digital!) zoom which doesn't have that many MP's. (The sensor will be too small for this high amount of MP's - that's why the picture quality worsens!)

Dreamcherry!! These pics are beautiful........makes me want that bag now and I've kinda always thought those roses were just too neon. Your photos can definitely change someone's mind!
