my bf would hold my bag for me if i was with him. otherwise, i held on to my bag if there was no hook around.

I have major public bathroom issues - I can't stand anything touching anything! So, nothing seems too extreme to me. Do what you must!

This is a funny thread! If the restroom is very yucky, I will just try to find another one (hopefully close by, LOL). And like many of you, yes, I will do anything & everything to keep water & yucks away from my LV.
I've been rotating between 5 of my speedies this summer and since they don't go over the shoulder I hold them between my knees while I wash my hands. If I forget to grab papertowels beforehand, I walk with the Speedy between my knees to the papertowel dispenser. I've gotten some weird looks, but I just chuckle and keep on trucking. My LV's are all in great condition!

LOL OMG I am soooo like that. A friend of mine from catholic school actual sat on a bare toliet seat and i was like OMG ur going to have a butt fungus or something are you insane. We had an intense talk. I hate using public restrooms they are just wayyyyyy too gross for me. Even when I go to other people's houses I never sit my bags on the floor. Sometimes I'm even afraid to sit on a couch in the little "before bathroom rooms" because I hear some wild stories and I dont want anyone's jizz getting on my LV or Indy.That'd be so ewww and grosss

I used two of the little toilet butt protector things and some TP. lol. I really had to go though, like I try not to use the PRs but I really had to and it was an experience. Some females are not ladies. Especially ones that buy fakes!!!

It doesn't matter what bag I carry, even the ones I got free from magazines or those that cost me $5! Public rest rooms can be so dirty! I'm always paranoid! But necessary is the mother of inventions and I'm getting better at holding my bag at the same time lol

I'm going to try to answer this question as politely as possible. I do not sit on the seats of public restoom toilets nor do I try to place paper on them first. I...hover.
Anyway, I place my bag on the tops of my feet and hold onto the handles of it as I hover. That seems to work. I figure my feet or the tops of my shoes aren't as dirty as the floor, I'm holding the straps so no one can steal it from underneath and I think the weight of the bag might actually...eh...balance me? HA!

I wear my bags on my shoulder. I haven't used any hand held bag yet while in the bathroom so I will have to see how I'll handle that.

But hanging bags around my neck...... Why didn't I think of that?!

Before putting my bag on the door hanger, I wipe the door and the hook with tissue. If there's no hanger, then I do what the rest of you do, hang it on my neck. Haha!

hehe!! SO funny! I saw a report on dateline a few years ago about how the bottom of your purse is one of the dirtiest things around. Worse than a toilet seat or door handle!!

I clean the bottom of all my purses with clorox wipes and I make sure to do my best to keep them off the floor! Especially in the bathroom, and ESPECIALLY here where you have to squat over a hole in the ground and most people miss!!! AHHH!!!

LMAO!!!! I carry a plastic bag in my purse just for emergencies and then discard. If I do not have one, I ask a SA for one. The things we do for our babies!!

ROFLMAO!!! Me too!! Although I do use the cootie covers as I "hover". As for my bags, if there's no hook, I'll hang it on the top corner of the stall door next to the hinges. I figure most folks don't touch that part of the door as they're exiting the stall. Lol!
