I had a similar experience just a few hours ago today..I've been out shopping all day and just walked into the house. Around noon I got the munchies and decided I'd grab a small french fry from dearly beloved McDonalds But not until I washed my hands of course... So, I went into the bathroom (which smelled unbearably disgusting at first sniff) but I would have had to put some of my bags down because both hands were full. However, the ENTIRE sink area was soaked with water and dirty paper towels. And, sure enough, I was out of my handy dandy sanitary wipes so I just walked out and decided not to eat at all. I still haven't eaten and now I'm eyeballing this Chinese delivery menu.

I, too, wear my bags around my neck! I wouldn't put any bag on the floor, no matter the price. I have also folded up my pant legs so they wouldn't touch the floor either. Ewwwwwwww!

must have looked funny, ok no ones supposed to be looking there though I managed to carry my bag on one arm today and "doing everything else" with the other... there was absolutely no hook at my optometrists toilet...

Lol, this is so funny! I very very rarely use a public restroom when out and about, but if I do then I make sure I'm ALWAYS in company (DH, sis-in-law) and they will happily offer to hold my baby for me....haha

I don't blame you for doing that. I have a hard time putting my Speedy 30 anywhere else but my knees, because the dimensions don't really allow for it to be hung WELL from the restroom door. Besides, what if it [gasp] dropped on the floor?!

I would've turned around and found another restroom. But yes, I always hold on to my bags even if the restroom "appears" clean because a public restroom is never completely sanitary.
