I have two speedies and don't feel like it is too much. Vachetta doesn't love the rain, so I turn to my de as an everyday choice. But my heart loves the mono, and that's the one I don't even have yet! I agree with the person who suggested pre-loved for de. It truly wears well, so you'll never notice.

I got my first LV, mono speedy 25, a couple of months ago and LOVE it.
But I'm also thinking now of getting the speedy DE 25 in the next couple of weeks. I love how lightweight the speedy is and it's so classy.

i totally agree! get the DE speedy for the fall/winter and then maybe next summer the azur speedy!!!!! i have the mono speedy and then eventually got the idylle speedy. i will likely add an azur at some point! LOL!

I purchased the Speedy 35 in monogram new twice and sold it both times because i thought i couldnt use it having 2 small kids. then i purchased the DE speedy 35 and fell in love .. only few weeks after buying the DE speedy, ive purchased the Monogram speedy for the THIRD time, i just couldnt live without it hahaha. so what im trying to say is, DONT SELL IT because you will probably just re buy it again and again he he he. its a great bag!

I have an Azur 30 and Mono B 30. And I am seriously contemplating the DE in a different size- either larger for travel, or the 25 since it is so cute.

I say you can't have too many Speedies! :)

I also want the Empreinte speedy but I heard it was going to be about $3400 which is really high for such a small bag, IMO. :(

Has anyone had issues with peeling on their DE speedy handles?

No no no. Do not regret your mono speedy b. it is a classic and it's such gorgeous. Get the damier whenever you can. I started with speedy 30 ebene, 2 months later got the 35 in damier ebene and 1 year later the speed b 35 in mono. Absolutely love my mono speedy, now I will get the speedy b ebene soon. Love them all.

I agree, keep it and get DE. I asked similar question concerning Eva clutch, and I'm going to get another, but in DA!
