You do have a point there, it is true thet in some arab country's it doesnt take much to look like a total slut (Soz for the language). A lot of arab singers (woman particualy) are lebanese, lebanese is I think one of the more openminded country's in middle east... . In those country's botox and plastic is a much much bigger deal then in Usa or Europe. (Btw also now trying to racist or something xd)

I also it will be good to reach to a other distance of the world for modelling-work.

Just to clarify...I am not Arab. I have an interest in and appreciation for the Arab world and I took some Arabic language classes. While I was studying, I focused on Arab music. Through watching a lot of YouTube videos of popular Arab singers, I stumbled upon many clips of Haifa being interviewed, discussing "scandalous" topics and I read subscriber comments/talked to Arab friends about her, which led me to believe that many Arabs find her to be trashy and a poor entertainer.
The question was posed about why HAIFA had a controversial reputation. I agree that Madonna is also controversial but that wasn't the question. I didn't mean to offend anyone OR lead anyone to believe that I have ill feelings toward HAIFA.
One of my favorite quotes is "Well-behaved women rarely make history," so I would never suggest that a woman's reputation should be a deterrent to her success. In any case, Yallah, Haifa wa mabrook!

I agree, totally. Eventhough her reputation may be compared to Madonna/Britney (Note: Haifa doesnt smoke weed/do drugs/shave her head bald) (I hope I'm not to open minded on the next line, in the netherlands it woudnt be a big of deal):
A sex video of her has been leaked, something with her ''daughter'', and the fact thet lot of arabs dont really like a little nose job and botox. I dont know the details of everything but thets kinda the deal in general.

Still I think thet Haifa is quiet a Diva, she is still young and also looks young, but in the 100 preformes you can find on youtube you wont see more than 5 not in a houte couture designer dress, from zuhair murad (ARAB designer, fun try this: google zuhair murad on google, then images and you see a LOT of Haifa). to D&G.

hey again :) Totally agree, Haifa is a beautiful woman and it would be nice to see her in an LV campaign... specially bcos she's lebanese...and my father is Lebanese and I lived in Lebanon for 8 years... still go there every year.. so I perfectly know who Haifa wehbe is :) still it would be good to mention that Lebanon is not as open minded as USA for example... I currently live in latin America (Venezuela) and still values there (Lebanon) are VERY important, no child is born without a father... everything is done under the table bcos of values...instead in other countries everything is done in extreme FREEDOM... well in the end I'd really like and hope for Haifa to be an LV model... Lets hope for that
