Is the new iPhone a little thicker than the original one? I remember reading the article about it and it isn't as slim as they claim it to be. That's really disappointing.

I'm curious to know - how long did you wait in line? I was just at the mall and I walked past the apple store and the line was at least 8 or 9 stores long! I was fascinated.
But I'm sorry it doesn't fit your case. |

OH No!
This was just what I was wondering about as well. Of course it figures that I just got the Red EpiLeather case barely a month and a half ago. Thanks for the heads up. Wonder how long we will have to wait for the 3G iPhone case.

Wow really?! I thought someone said the new one was meant to be smaller than the old one!

I keep my V1 iPhone! It's sleeker and more beautiful anyway than the new 3G version. And with the 2.2 firmware I don't see much difference between the two. So I can keep my pretty epi case.

well i have some good news... it seems to have stretched out SOME... still not enough but some is better then none right? hehe
It may stretch with use enough to be able to use it with the new phone!!! I stood in line for 3 hours and it was totally worth it! The new iPhone is great and soooo much faster and nicer then the old one. I think the phone itself is sleeker then the old one but its curved a bit more in the back and its a tad thicker overall sue to the curve so its hard to fit in the LV case... Im going to keep it in the case over night and ill report back soon! |

Yes, keep us updated! So the curve on the back is what made the iPhone slightly thicker? That's interesting! I wish I could have the iPhone but I don't think my parents will allow me to have an individual service plan for it, lol (they usually go for a family plan since it's more affordable). It sounds fascinating, though. Glad to hear the improvements Apple has done for it. Did the activation process go smoothly for your new phone? I'm totally curious.
Congratulations on the gadget! I hope things go well with the iPhone case. Best of luck. |

I hope it works out for you. I have the 1st version iphone and I love it! I am not in a hurry to get the new iphone because of all the bugs I've heard about and honestly my iphone works great in my opinion! The 3G sounds good but I'm nervous about battery life. I usually use wi-fi in most places anyway...
I hope the case fits or I'm sure there will be lots of disappointed folks that updated their iphone and want to use the old case. Good luck!!! |
