Well back to the old iPod LV case I was using with my 1st gen iPhone before. The new iPhone does NOT fit into my red epi case. Well let me take that back, it does if I expect to fight with it for 10 minutes to get it out. Last year when I got the 1st iPhone, I was hot on the phone with LV requesting an iPhone case because at the time there were none. This time around it does make sense that they will hurry up production for the new 2nd gen iPhones to meet the demand. Meanwhile I'll make due with this iPod LV case so it doesn't get scratched!

Cheryl, I feel your pain.
I bought the Monogramouflage case in early July totally waiting for the release of the new iPhone, which I picked up last Friday (it's perfect). So I take it home, really excited, take out the case from the LV box and I have to literally stuff it in to the case. It took me ages to get it out. I was so upset. It's still really hard to pull out (the only thing that seems to work is to grab it by my thumbnail from the speaker slot - which makes me worry I'll damage the speaker) but not as hard as the first few days. I'm hoping repeated action will take care of it because I LOVE the m'flage case. Fingers crossed. I'm wondering if I should talk to my SA at the shop... |

I have the first generation Iphone with the Iphone LV case. When I first got my iphone case it was snug and fit the iphone well. I purchased maybe 2 weeks after it's release. I can say the case really does stretch with time/use. It became so loose that it would slip out of the case with a few jiggles. I purchased a skin that covers the entire iphone from thebestskinsever.com to give the iphone a liitle more grip. It fits perfect now because of the slight added thickness. So I think if I do upgrade to the 3g iphone it will fit because my case was worn in. So if you do have the iphone case and purchased a 3g I think it would stretch if you tried. Hope this helps!

Yea they sold out pretty fast, but they shipped me one from Vancouver as a favour becuase my parents use Rogers for EVERYTHING for their business, so alot of money gets spent I guess? My mom says the CSR told her that I was very lucky since all white ones were gone in the GTA. Stores across the country are being restocked quite often, I'm sure new white ones will pop up within a week or two! |

I have the new white iPhone 3G (DH managed to buy a white 16GB for me and a black 8GB for him) and just bought the monogramoflage iPhone case a couple days ago. Yes, it is a tight fit at the beginning and I did have to struggle to get the phone out. Now it has stretched out more ... you just have to really hold on to the phone to pull it out. It really does look so pretty with its lil' case!

My local AT&T store had some of the 8gb models available
I noticed the back of the iphone has a slight hump...they say its due to the 10 antennas inside |

Hi everyone. Well I have the new iPhone 3G
awesome, loving it & the Louis Vuitton iPhone/iTouch case DOES fit. I had heard a rumor that they were doing a new case for the 3G but Louis Vuitton have confirmed this is not true, at least not at this stage. I was in the store & tried my phone in the existing case, the one they have had for the last year & a half & yes it was a tight squeeze but by the end of the day no problem at all, slides in & out & looks oh so pretty :)I got the last monogram case in Melbourne but they are getting more, still restocking. The rumour they aren't getting anymore is also NOT TRUE, they are restocking as they sell. The new 3G fits in the case exactly the same way the old one did, just tighter for a while...

I prefer my old iPhone! I find it more elegant than the new plastic one!

Folks, I posted about this here:
My iPhone 3G and LV IPhone cases and goodies! ![]() Am glad I returned my red epi when I did and waited for these two cases. My original phone works with the Monogram case, but the Mono'flage for my 3G; the Mono'flage is slightly bigger in width and thickness!! |
