Since this beauty, in all its Pomme D'Amour glory, counts as one carry-on, I only use it on personal trips when I don't need a laptop case. I've added an LV shoulder strap to make it a bit more practical to tote around in airports, even though it does slide onto the handle of other luggage as well. Inside there is a mirror, three (3) pockets, leather loops for holding bottles in place, and a wipeable lining.

Nothing special like applying anything on it. I do store everything in its dustbag in a closet or cabinet when I'm not using it and try never to sit purses on the floor or other dirty surfaces but that's it. The Monogram Eole has been out in light rain a few times and the Speedy 40 has seen rain & snow many times. I do tend to use the non-vachetta pieces more often than not though, so maybe they just don't get enough sun.

I actually love the patina, it just seems really slow to come.

Thanks ... it's actually about a year and half old. I bought it in Aug of 2007 and only use it occasionally. I am just a bit slow and random about getting everything photographed.

I have to tell you this: You have such an amazing talent! This photograph is one perfect example. You accessorize an accessory with artistry. There is something about your photography that makes everything look complete and outstanding as a whole. I love the way you describe your collection and how it molds and fits your way of life. I enjoyed how you made use of so many different settings and backgrounds in order to attain a better result. Could I mention the word, "perfection"?

You are so talented and skilled especially with your writing. I would bet that you'd be a great writer and writing a book would be a breeze to you.
