i want to put something on my wishlist that costs $55 plus shipping and tax, but i am not sure if would make me a bad person to put it on my wish list.

It doesn't make you a bad person. You can have whatever you want on your list, it's a wishlist not a must get list.

I think so far it seems like everyone is having fun with this RAOK and if it's a little bit over I don't think everyone would mind, it doesn't make you a bad person. Also if your buddy wants to get it for you, then they didn't mind the cost overage. Otherwise they have the option of ignoring that particular item.

Nearly there with package number one, few more bits to get then its off on a long journey to my buddy.

Might pop out shopping again today, its cold here and I am tempted to stay near the fire in my pj's all day, alas I must take children to school!

Just went shopping for my buddy again.. but I only managed to get one item!!! :(

I cant find alot of the items on my buddy's wishlist as I'm not located in the state.. boo.

No worries!!! I think the point of RAOK is also like, it's the thought that counts, right???
I think whatever we all receive we will love and appreciate. Afterall, someone took the time and effort to look for gifts for someone they don't know. It's hard enough sometimes buying gifts for people we know let alone, someone we don't. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

The week-end has been busy and this week is no better - required to work mandatory OT at the hospital! 7 - 12hour shifts in a row, today is my hump day (working day 4 - 11am til 11:15pm) I am starting to feel it.

I will go Friday and finish shopping for my buddy, by then the items I have ordered will be here as well! this is so fun but nerve racking buying for someone I don't really know...I hope my buddy likes it!

Hey everyone -

My meeting with boss did not go well. hahaha. Ok I have to laugh about it other I'll probably cry. He barely listened to me, probably 20% of what I said.
Sigh....

But on a brighter note. I am enjoying shopping for my buddy and wrapping it too.
