Morning all! I hope everyone had a fun weekend and holiday. The party on Sat was pretty fun, there are at least two pics of me in my outfit that I hope someone will post on FB - if they do I'll post it here. Unfortunately on Sunday I started hearing a noise from the front of my car, and after getting it looked at it looks like it may be a very costly problem, which I don't have the money to deal with, so I may infact need to get a new car :(. My parents are being very supportive thankfully, and said that if I have to they would help with a large contribution to a down payment on a new car. Also there's a possibility for me to get a used car for a good deal through Rob's family (since they're so up the ladder at goodwill).

Anyway, we'll see. Sorry to vent, still kinda sad about the whole thing, especially after all the time I spent getting it fixed after I hit that deer.

good morning all...happy monday. hope you guys all had a great weekend. lola had a great time trick or treating on saturday. we were out for about an hour and she got tons of candies. we're taking her to the doctor this afternoon for her checkup.

And yes, what would men do without women? My mom and cousin were runnig around like nurses for me.

I remember a couple of people mentioned that their friend or relative caught the swine flu. What was their prognosis? Are they better now?

I'm getting worried cuz I'm still running a fever :(

Have you been to the doctor? The high fever lasts about 3-4 days, my doc had us alternating between Advil and Motrin to keep the fever down.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I did a reveal thread for my first LV (Speedy 30) but wanted to say hi here. I am a stay at home mom with two boys, 3 and 1. I have a baby due at the end of March and we find out the sex Thursday. I will either be completely surrounded by boys or I will have a shoppng partner. Either way my husband and I are thrilled (and done after 3). You ladies seem so nice and I am so excited to have my first LV!

Hi angie.....long time, no chat! How are you? I can't wait to see pics of Lola......did you eat all her candy???

We had about 45 kids on Saturday....I closed up around 9 pm......when we lived in Ohio, they had specific trick or treating hours....I think it's more fun when the time isn't specified......

hi lindy, how are you? its been awhile. no we had a couple pieces but thats it. it was a long day for us. we went to dim sum then to the stores then home for awhile to try and get her to take a nap but she just wanted to play then we went to meet them for trick or treat. she ran around with the other kids and she was done by about 8pm that night.

Hi Addy. My fever has been fluctuating between 99 and 101.8 for the past 2 days. Its worrisome (sp?) because I'm not just on Tylenol, I'm on antibiotics.

If it doesn't improve by tomorrow ill have to go to the doctor again.

Awww...sorry to hear about your car troubles. I hope you will get the most for your money --- either through fixing your old car, or getting a new one.
My parents are generous too. My Dad lent me his Lexus RX 300 to use, for as long as it takes for him to get his doctor's okay to drive again
