I didn't know we could do that?? Sorry, I realise this is heading right off into thread drift here, as I guess did much of my previous post ... but the last time I checked, there was no way to ban an individual buyer. Maybe I need to check again?

I am so happy for you that this all worked out!!!! I've been checking obsessively on this thread, thank goodness she came to her senses :)

now to the unhappy ebay lady- you were very unfair and out of line, this was a very upsetting situation to all authentic lv lovers. Thank you for seeing the light!!! :)

i am very happy that this horrible thing came to an end. too bad that this person has no clue as to what a great deal she got on this lovely bag.
this bag belongs with someone who can really appreciate it. i hope you can contact ebay now to remove the negative feedback. it is so unfair.

Lynpink - I am so happy to hear this nightmare is finally ended!! Enjoy your weekend, and happy new year!

In regards to selling on eBay, how do you attach a security tag to your items? Is there a special security tag that I can purchase in Stapples? LOL... I just posted a few items for sell there, and this whole thing with Lynpink makes me nervous of scammers.

YAY Lynpink...along with everyone else I am sooooo happy this all has worked out and ended. It is so unfortunate that you had to go through this. Hopefully no one else has to go through something like this again.

I am glad everything was resolved. That must be such a relief! I feel sorry for the buyer that she doesn't realize what a great deal she got on such a beautiful bag.

Glad this fiasco is over with but the open issues that I am still questioning is:

1)If she had a Cabas Piano of her own, why in the world would she buy another one?!?!

2)Why did she go about bashing me from the start without even getting her facts straight?!?

3)And last but not least, WHY IN THE FRIGGIN' WORLD DID SHE EVEN BID TO BEGIN WITH, WASTE MY TIME AND PUT ME THROUGH ALL THIS ISH!?!

To close things and for her future reference I sent her the pdf file of Carol Diva's Authentication letter with formal letterhead.

OH WELL, LIFE GOES ON....Round of shots for everyone!! heehee

Wow, I'm glad everything worked out for you. Still though, I wish she'd just realize that the bag is authentic and apologize to you...no sense in holding a grudge about something as senseless as that.
If I had ANY questions at all, I would send in the pictures to both MP and CarolDiva AND take it in to my nearest store's manager. She didn't do any of those things and was just being stubborn. IMO, she seems to KNOW she was in the wrong and is just too stubborn to admit it.
I will NEVER sell LV on ebay for this reason. I sell other things and occasionally buy LV but I won't sell it.
But I digress. I'm glad everything worked out in your favor, especially since you were in the right all along.

Nobody more deserving than you, you've just been through an awful experience. I can recommend a double Bailey's with vodka. (Think I recommend I have one too!)

GRRRRREEEEAT, now my other buyer who recently purchased my Coussin GM saw the negative feedback and wrote me this:
"I am having it checked out though, and if it is a fake,,,I't won't be pretty for you."

Ummm...can we say "back to square ONE"

Oh Pinkupcake, I would buy LV from you on ebay ANYDAY! I've been buying and selling on ebay for over ten years! (Yup, I was there when ebay was just a baby...) It has unfortunately gotten almost unbearable, and I am "out of the business" now. But I still troll occasionally for the great deal. I just wish it were a nicer place to go, like it used to be. Oh well.

As for LynPink, glad to know it worked out for you! I know how helpless and angry and awful you can be made to feel in a transaction gone bad.

It was obviously a horrible experience for you and I'm just glad you will now have some peace of mind (although I imagine you'll still want to do something about the feedback).

Personally, being both a buyer and a seller, I extend to all sellers I buy from exactly the same courtesies I appreciate when it's me in the role of the the seller. You ask your questions and do your checks beforehand, you bid early to register your interest, when you win you wait for the invoice and pay promptly when it arrives. When the item arrives you get on and leave positive feedback to let the seller know the transaction has been happily concluded. It's all just plain, simple courtesy and it's not even a little bit difficult.

I just feel sorry that so many people have said in this thread that it's because of this sort of negative experience that they won't sell on eBay. Maybe everyone should have to sell five or ten of their most prized possessions on eBay before they're allowed in as buyers ... that would certainly sort out a few people.
