Glad things worked out in the end.. But I would be scared to go back to ebay. Have you tried to have the feedback removed?

She just needs to give it up and admit she was wrong...my goodness gracious!!

I emailed her back:

Take care!"

I just read the most recent messages..so THANK YOU!!

I actually Live chatted with an ebay representative (very helpful by the way) and he sent me a link and suggested I fill out an "unfair fdbk left" message to have reviewed. I asked the rep to make sure it wasn't the "mutual feedback withdrawal" and he assured me it was not. I swear I wrote like a ten-page essay on that bad boy!! If anything, I don't want her neg taken out, JUST MINE of course I've never had to use that option before but does anyone know if they do remove the neg in my favor, will they remove the whole rating completely??

I see the buyer was going to send it to my poupette and their rates went up to $95 for in person authentications, so I bet the buyer had no intentions on doing as she claimed she was going to. I bet she took it to LV and they authenticated it for her!!!! Bet ya, bet ya!

I'm so sorry this is happening to you again...after the 1st buyer's (potential scammer) situation was resolved.

Now this (the 2nd buyer situation)....ugh...see, I completely understand where she saw the neg. and got nervous about her bag... (without knowing the complete story, that's why I hope she sees this to aid her) BUT...why do people have to say things so nastily. Yes, it's a legitimate concern for her after seeing that feedback, ok, fine, contact the seller and start inquiring. However, threats and combatitive language, even before the seller responds, before you know ANYTHING is the way it is, etc....is HIGHLY uncalled for. Why can't people just state their concerns and wait to communicate futher...why does a nasty comment like "trust me, it won't be pretty..." or however it was exactly worded need to be put out there? That doesn't help the seller, nor does it make the buyer look like anyone someone could logically deal with.

This will work itself out too...*many hugs*

Yes, but it's EXTREMELY rare that ebay will remove a feedback. It is very very difficult to have that done. Almost impossible. I had a similar situation once, and I was turned down flat even with all my 'evidence'. Don't be surprised if your request is rejected too. They will tell you how everyone is entitled to their opinion, blah blah blah....
I'm not trying to be negative, rather just trying to prepare you.
Use mutual feedback withdrawal as your next course of action if they reject removing it altogether. Again, good luck!

I have heard of people using something called Square Trade to get feedback removed? How does that work, and is it an option for the OP here?

Yes, it is, as I mentioned in my earlier post. However, that should be her last resort. They do charge for their services. It's a nominal amount and in my opinion well worth it for the peace of mind. It works like a charm though!

ITA. Contagious rudeness, maybe?

I suspect it wouldn't make any difference what you said. You don't have to do or say anything to provoke this one, she's been aggressive and irrational from the get go. I hope you can get rid of her asap!

lI am so glad that it got resolved. But it still piss me off on the fact she can't admit she is wrong. How hard is it to go to a LV store and get it authenticated. She is acting like the victim, go cry me a river! Hope everything works out for the 2nd buyer.

lynnpink!! could you please show me how to do that? i had a recent situation where this happened to me. I paid for something asap (a coupon code) and it was not sent by the promised date. they left me a retaliatory negative feedback... if i can fill out that same "unfair feedbacK" form maybe i can see if ebay agrees!
