Ummm...can we say "back to square ONE"
Just an idea - why not send that buyer a link to this thread. So she can see what that negative feedback was all about.

^That's definitely a good idea. Seriously, who knows better, a buyer who THINKS she knows everything about authenticity (but doesn't even bother to get the bag checked out by a REAL expert) or the double digit numbers of us who have looked at the bag ourselves and can CONFIRM it's authentic?
I really hate how one bad apple can spoil everything, I see it all the time and it's really sad. It makes me angry to think that one person's false claim can ruin a person's reputation.
But definitely do like halona said and link the other bidder to this thread so she can see the nonsense that other buyer tried to pull.

Yep, I sent her the direct link to this thread, hopefully she's reading it right now! Apparently there is no LV in Iowa and the closest one is in Chicago for her to have the bag checked out.

Let us know what happens with the other buyer, hopefully she is reading this, I guess its only natural, if she reads that feedback without knowing the full story, she is going to be doubtful. But once she knows the story it should be fine.

Goodluck!

I believe the first buyer was planning on doing the swap with a fake, but because you stood your ground, it was too hard for her to do. So good on you for doing all the right things!!

I hate to say it because WE all know that you are an honest seller but...... If I just bought something from someone on ebay that I did not know and I saw the last buyer accuse the seller of selling a fake I would be worried too. All the people that sell fakes make it bad for honest people like you.

don't worry about the second buyer. what are the chances of her being a psycho as well unless they are related or friends.i am sure once she sees the bag is authentic she will feel better. just let her know what happened with the other one.
you should contact ebay to see if they can remove that dishonest feedback.

Send your original buyer a 'mutual feedback withdrawal' request.
I hope this is o.k., but here is a link to the right spot -

http://pages.ebay.com/help/feedback/...ithdrawal.html

Complete the form yourself and wait for her to respond. Feedback left by each of you will be made neutral. The feedback won't go away, but it will not be negative anymore. If she doesn't respond to that, then you can do a further request thru Squaretrade. If it gets to that, then you can request that ONLY the feedback she left you be neutralized and her negative that she got from you will remain! It's definately in her favor to respond to the intial request to withdraw, that you send her thru ebay. Good Luck!

I can understand that the second buyer would be concerned seeing the feedback from the first buyer, and as a person who also lives far from an LV I can understand that it's hard for her to get it checked out in person, but she should definitely come here and get some confirmation of authentication. I don't think I would feel comfortable buying LV on eBay from anyone without the great resource that is here on tPF. Because let's be honest - the majority of the LV bags on eBay are fakes, and most of those come from people with great feedback!

Lynpink, I am so sorry that you are going through all this when you are one of the "good guys!" I agree with what others have said, that you should see if you can get that feedback removed, because it isn't right that it's affecting your reputation.
