I love the mono line. I have a lot of it, but I am trying to add Damier & Vernis to add some pop to my collection.

I think 5 SLGs and 3-5 bags are enough, for me and imo.

I agree the styles are all different, but one in each size (large tote, clutch, & everything in between) in mono, epi, damier, etc. is plenty.

That being said - I have fewer than this (I'm not much of a mono girl), and I'm sure as my collection grows and I approach these figures my opinion will change!

Mono is so classic...and it's the style of the bag that differentiates each mono. So you can't go wrong if they're the same pattern but different style! However, for me, it's repetitive to have two mono totes; for example, the Neverfull and Batignolles because they are so similar in style. Of course if you're an avid tote collector, then that's a different story all together!

You have too many when your bags are collecting dust in the closet. But if you love and use them all, you can't have too many!

Everyone's answers are very helpfull, I was feeling a little bad for having what I thought was too many Mono bags but they are all so different and they are all well loved and used. Now I don't feel bad anymore and I will continue to purchase Mono bags if I like them and know I will use them.

I like a variety, I think in terms of bags I have about two, three if you count Stephen Sprouse Graffiti. Although for me it's much more about the design and functionality of the bag as opposed to the material it's been made with so I don't have an opinion I guess!
