Hello fellow tpf'ers,

It's about 2AM right now and I am stuck thinking about the purchase that I am planning to make later on in the afternoon. I know I always liked the Damier (ebony) speedy 30, and now that I've recently made up my mind to purchase, I'm suddenly having second thoughts whether if I should buy it or not. I'm just sitting here, thinking-- do I REALLY need this? Is it well worth the money? I carry my chanel classic flap almost everyday. As much as I love my classic flap, the classic flap is def. not roomy and It's also starting to show signs of damage. That's pretty much the biggest or maybe the only reason why I'm planning to replace it by purchasing the speedy 30. Help, should I get the speedy or not?

Advantages of Speedy - roomy and classic LV design

Disadvantages (in my opinion anyway) - can only be hand held (hard when you're carrying a lot of stuff), a lot of people have it, and has only one flat pocket

I have Speedy myself and I like that it's roomy and easy to carry.

But I know in your situation I would go to the LV store 3 times and try the bag on before I go ahead with the purchase.

I think you will be pleased with the speedy. Even if you use it just a few times a week to switch out with your Chanel, it will save the wear and tear on your Chanel.
I have 3 speedies and I love them! Best bag ever!

I think the speedy is great but the fact that it can't be worn over shoulder can be annoying but I say go for it, give your chanel a break!!!

The Damier Speedy is a great everyday bag! I don't think you'll regret it!

If you like handheld bags, the damier ebene speedy is definitely a GREAT item to have in your collection. Go for size 30 if you prefer a roomy bag - it holds a tonne!

Go get it! Damier is virtually indestructible and definitely something you could use without too much worry. IMO, the price is reasonable too and you will get a lot of use out of it.

Thank you all for your replies! I've decided to get the damier (ebony) speedy 30. I think I needed some kind of assurance because I haven't purchased a bag for a long time (1-2 years). I'm going to the LV store later in the afternoon and I'll hopefully have a new bag added to my lv collection! -- Also my first reveal on tpf.
