I love the longer strap on the galleria. Our bags should fit our lives first and foremost--the intended appearance/style of the bag is secondary.

I bought an LV luggage strap (wide, brown canvas) to use as the longer strap on my palermo. It works fabulously!!

Hi LuvTare, could you please share some pictures of how the strap is used on the speedy? I'm thinking of getting another speedy in damier, but the handheld bit is turning me off!

i mostly do wear it with the short strap.. but i like to have it as an option more than anything, as i have 3 kids to attend to and need my hands free sometimes..
(here's another visual, for those who like to 'see' how both straps hang)

Personally, I am so glad you posted this pic. I love the Galiera and was considering an SO of the ebene. My big hang-up was the shorter strap because **sometimes** I need a crossbody bag with the kiddos.

Thanks for enabling!

Default Trevi PM messenger style...
I bought a longer strap for my Trevi Pm. I have two kids under three, so I need my hands free. The shoulder strap was very uncomfortable for me. I actually went to the boutique and the Sa was kind of rude and repeatedly told me that the Trevi was not meant to be worn that way. I actually had to ask her numerous times to bring me the strap. I tried it on and loved it. The Sa did not!!! I felt like telling the Sa, I paid over $1000 for this bag and I can wear it anyway I please!!!! Needless to say, I did not buy the strap from her. But, I did order it online!!! I will post pics as soon as I have them. By the way, I do agree that the bag looks better handheld. It just isn't convenient for me at this time.
