Hi Ayla that is awesome, yes for sure it'd be great if you could help us setup the authentication seminar! We're trying to plan the meet after the exams as we have a lot of students here!

One thing that quickly became apparent from our meeting on Sunday was the large range in ages of all of our members. I think you are going to find that there are people form every age represented here and all are welcome. Judging by the energy that was there on Sunday, this is going to be a great event. I had such a great time yesterday. The four of us in LV was a hoot and I am sure a meet with other tpfers will be great! Ooooohhhhhh I am soooo exited, can't wait for spring!

Hey Bee, our tentative dates are:

April 19 or 20
May 3 or 4
May 17 or 18

We wanted to do it in the Spring because that's when they will start rolling out the new lines and it will be after university students' exams. Plus the weather will be great; we don't want to risk having a meet in a huge snowstorm! hehe
So hopefully you can still make it, try to plan a weekend trip! We are looking around at budget-conscious hotels around Bloor St. like the Holiday Inn.

Once we have a fixed date from LV, we'll want everyone who's interested to sign up for the meet as this will be an invitation only event. You can bring a date/friend/spouse and etc. We will send an invitation to you plus 1 if you're bringing another person with you... Keep watching this thread and soon we will have a fixed date!!!

hi everyone!

my Canadian visa expires on December 8, and i don't think i'll be getting a new one anymore because there's a very real possibility that i'll have to go back to Malaysia for good on February 28 . that means i won't be able to make it for the spring meet

HOWEVER, i'll definitely be making a last couple of trips into Toronto in November, and if anyone wants to meet up for fun/shopping/coffee i'll be very happy to do so

Sandra I'm sorry to hear that! I hope you don't have to go back home (unless you really want to). If you want to meet up for shopping/lunch or whatever, I'd be happy to meet up with you! PM me if you want.
