How exciting!!! I think that union sf, or depending on the weather maybe the Westfield may be good options. Fairly easy to access by car or transit, relatively safe, and close to good food and shopping:)

Whoopsies!! Just realized we are all in the east bay... Except those from 2010!! If we are talking east bay I think walnut creek is easy to park abd access, safe, and classy. There's also Pleasanton, a bot more south of Wnc or north is pleasant hill.
