Ann, you know, we're all meeting together and doing these things together. Each meet is unique and special. Each of us ought to be able to contribute something (such as ideas) to make it happen, one by one, making a whole.

I, personally, like things to be organized and streamlined.

I have two thoughts:
- This idea of "playing politics" for such a small group ( x > 10 ) might not be necessary. Aesthetically, it just looks better when you can juggle around some ideas, catch some and drop some; and everyone comes to an agreement together.
- However, I'd say that if we do go this route of having an elected organizer, we should rotate different people to organize each meet. I just don't anyone to feel left out because they want to do something.

If any of you feel that you want to lead out in a meet or if you have some really interesting ideas, I would encourage you to speak up.

All in all, let's keep it simple!

Hi guys! I did make a post on the SF Bay area club thread, but thought maybe I'd say hello here too! I'm sort of new to the bay area, been here since Oct 06. I love LV and lots and lots of others! I am a SAHM of twin 2 year old girls that take up soooo much of my time! Anyway I'm in east bay so hopefully someday I can join you guys at a meet.

Hello ladies, I'm back from my anniversary vacation in Kauai!

Lori - where did you go in Kauai? I just got back in April too. We stayed on Poipu beach and it was absolutely fantastic!

We stayed at the Marriott Beach & Resort on the south shore. It was awesome! We can't wait to go to Hawaii again. We're hoping to try Maui next year for our anniversary!

Cool!! Is that the one on Poipu too? If so, that's right next door to where we stayed (Kiahuna Plantation condos). I walked next door to the Marriot every morning to get my Starbucks :) :).

oops, guess not, looks like that is another Marriot. The Marriot next to us was the Waiohai Beach Club, different one...not to mention I think Poipu is on the west side of the Island. It was my first time there so I'm not super familiar with the Islands yet.

Plus there's the convenience factor, too, since I am usually traveling via MUNI.
