I am...er, was...getting an Epi ZCP for Christmas. With that in mind I went to my local boutique yesterday to have one last look so I could decide on the colour. The SA brought out 2 purses for me to look at. And they were squashed almost beyond recognition
![]() Needless to say I was totally put off by this and I have lost almost all desire to get this purse ![]() But...after reacquainting myself with the ZCP Clubhouse I know these little sweeties can look gorgeous and adorable! Question is: how can I get my mojo back for one of these little beauties? |

Epi is very durable, by squashed do you mean they look flat? Epi wallets look pretty stiff and flat to me until you have stuff in them - then they look great.
I hope you can find the wallet you want, don't give up yet. Maybe try other styles if you don't like the look of the epi? |

I love the ZCP styles. I have them in monogram, damier ebene, and monogram vernis styles. I don't have them in epi because I find they don't 'wow' me as much. I would say go back and look at the other styles. Maybe the Pomme D'Amour in vernis would appeal to you--get the ones with the deeper pillowy impressions!

I guess I meant they looked...flat, yes. Really I tried very hard not to go "Yuck!" when the SA got them out. I suppose they may looked better once full but I think this has really put me off Epi. I'm thinking I might go back as suggested and try scoping the Vernis ZCP...I like Amarante and Bronze. I know the latter is not to everyone's taste I think it's really a great neutral. If I knew what colours were replacing them I might wait but I would have a conniption if it was something I didn't like and I missed out on something I did

One thing I do often when I look at bags at the LV boutique and I am not sure what they will look like (or feel like) when full, is I ask my SA if she could stuff the bag with tissue paper so I can see what it will be like when actually being used (i.e. with stuff in it). This also helps me to see how comfortable the bag will be to carry when filled.

Good idea! Actually I asked the SA if she minded me touching & opening the ZCP and she seemed kinda horrified by the thought. I said "I've just had a manicure!" (which I had, literally, an hour earlier) hoping that would make her feel better about it, lol. My hands were super nice at that moment
![]() I do love the Cassis but I'm not sure whether I'll buy it afterall.... |
