Staff Discount?
Does anyone know if LV employees get a discount on LV items, and if so, how much???

They can't buy new items, they are limited so several thousand a year. I don't remember the percentage but its not a lot

yeah, but they get to make special purchases of old/disc. stuff too, Dickies was telling us about some amazing deals he could have gotten!!! In the past and SA that I knew told me he could use a discount only a certain amount of times per year and it was about 20% or so.......that was a long time ago, so it has probably changed but I think it's still kinda like this.....and I think the number of discounts depends on the position/hours you work...not 100% sure though.

On everyday stuff it's not alot, I think 10%. But at the end of the season, they get to buy the 'leftovers' at big discounts, 50 - 70%....this usually is better for the reps that work in the stores, that crry the clothing!

My aunt used to work at the LV counter at Holt Renfrew and she got 25% off.

It is 30% regular, and of course we have different other discounts that are much higher :)

I heard that they pounch a little hole next to the made in france / spain when it comes from this 80% off sale to avoid return from employee, I have seen this hole in many ebay auction.

I don't care about any hole.....80% is good! That means though that an employee or ex-employee is selling their bag on eBay. Don't think LV would like that.
