I called LV in San Fransisco today, and the girl put me on hold to find out, and she said that it's supposed to be released May 1 and the price is set at $1185.00. But she also said they weren't waitlisting yet, and it sounds like lots of other stores are, so I'm not really knows what's going on.

Water color speedy vvn might have a different in US b/c we are only getting the 35, not 30 @1185 per some look book? If it's at 1685, I'd add few hundred more for a pegase.

i saw it IRL the other day...as much i loved it in pictures, i didn't fall in love with it in person...i am still on the waitlist though, just in case i change my mind...

Where'd you see it??? And did my SA just not know what she was talking about? Do all the stores have waitlists for it already? I'm so confused. Do you know the price? ANd was it the 35?

I hope it will be $1185. I won't dish out more than that for a white bag.....I'm nutty, but I'll only use it in spring/summer.

It was at the trunk show that Chewwy and I went to at the Soho store. Sorry was not able to take pictures of the bag, but it did not look as big in person as that of the mono 35. My ony concern is the white lining, afraid of the lining getting dirty...am hoping they change that. I am convinced we will only see this bag in the 35, especially after speaking again to store manager and leather manager this past Sat. They only have sku for that size in the computer from LV in the US.

i saw it IRL on friday...i posted a thread about the stuff i saw at the boutique...my store has a waitlist already...price quoted to me was $1185 and it's the 35...

I saw it at the Saks in the South Coast Plaza and I felt the same way. I was told that it was going to be priced at around 1650 and would be released in May.

I hope my SA was wrong too.

You know it doesn't make a lot of sense for them to make such a limited bag in a 30 and 35. They're making the white only in the speedy and the exotic. A 30 and 35 would be way too similar. IMHO

I posted this earlier in another thread.

I called my local store today ( Toronto location) and I was told the release is May 1'st she did not have the set price though.. but she did confirm *that* store was only getting 3.

She did confirm its a Speedy 35. I was the very first person to waitlist at that store.. so she mostly assured me I would be getting the bag when it is released May 1st.
She said they do not have them in store yet, but expect them a few weeks prior to the release date and she also told me they will be under lock and key till that day and not shown or displayed the people who waitlist pay by CC and they keep the bag until whenever you pick it up.

Interesting how each store varies!

Actually, I said "I think retails for 11-hundred and something" and he said yes. Definately not the exotic.
