There's a fake galliera on ebay right now selling as "authentic". It really burns me up that people would rip off anyone! Do they just not know that it is a fake!!! I thought about emailing this person to say "hey, you are selling a fake", but if I respond to these types of posts then I will be on the computer for hours
Another thing that burns me up is this type of dishonestly brings down the value of our real louies. People out there think that pre-loved louis should be like 75% ish below retail, when in fact I think they shouldn't be since LVs never go on sale and the prices go up every year. Anyway, I just needed to vent here, otherwise I would be emailing a really nasty comment to this ebayer.

Why don't you just report it to EBAY themselves so they will investigate and hopefully force the seller to remove the bag.

Maybe the seller doesn't know it's fake? I'm sure a lot of people who get them as gifts or aren't very familiar with the line don't know.
A friend of mine had a fake mc bag that had been given to her by someone who 'wasn't sure' if it was real or not, so my friend assumed that it probably was until I told her that the retail value of the authentic bag was about 10x her guesstimate and that something like 75% of bags with 'LV' on them are not authentic Louis Vuitton. It makes sense that someone who doesn't know how much a bag is worth, where it came from, or how commonplace fakes are wouldn't assume their bag was a knock off. Besides, from the sound of it, it's a pretty obvious fake, which probably just means that the seller is extra clueless. I think if someone knew they were trying to pass off a fake as the real thing they would avoid showing pics of the parts that gave it away. |

Yes, I agree. Ebay doesn't take it off. I think ebay wait a certain amount of report to take it off. I hate that. One day I have write a seller (it was for a chloe fake sells a higher price than a real one, and there was a person who has bid): "how dare you sell this as an authentic item. Don't you know how fake you purse is?". The person didn't answer but I was happy to tell her this.
My "favorite hobby" on ebay was to report fake but I have stopped since ebay doesn't react very often. Sorry for my bad english |
