Rude, much?

semi-long, hope I don't offend anyone. [Rather, hope this is ok to post]

So i'm out shopping with my sister, and we decide to go into the LV boutique because she sees something RED and SHINY [two of our favorite things!]

We go in and we go the counter, waiting to be helped. waiting...waiting...waiting. Normally I don't mind waiting, but this SA was helping someone, who already had a SA. I could tell she wasn't doing much because she was just commenting on how pretty the item the other lady was looking at. She glanced over at my sister and I a few times, but continued to not help us.

Finally she comes over, and we ask to see the item. She brings it out, and LEAVES. she just...LEAVES to go and chat with some other coworker, and she doesn't come back for quite a while. Doesn't appear to be anything serious, because she's laughing and chatting away. My sister and I are absolutely BLOWN away.

Does she think we're not going to purchase it? Does my sister owning and carrying an LV on her shoulder not seem serious enough for her? My sister and I are left, waiting for her to come back. We wait for a little longer, because we DO want to purchase this item. We've come all this way, and we are not going to come back for a long while. [far from where we live].
Eventually she comes back, but seems SO over it. Unenthusiastic, seems like she just wants to get us OUT.

I can't BELIEVE it. You would think they would WANT customers to come back and shop with them. What a put off. UGH.

I bet she can´t buy an LV herself....i hate it when they do this... in the store i go to there´s one really mean SA... i just ignore her... the other ones r nice..

Ohhhhh - I've never been to that one...

I'm sorry you had that experience - when I was at the Rodeo Drive one the other week, they WERE busy - and I wasn't dressed all 'that' - but I just walked up to an SA who looked like she could have CARED LESS and said "hello - I need a few things."
You have to be a little pushy sometimes - why is that?
I have a really nice SA at the Century City store....

ugh, i hate rude, stuck up SAs! i remember that rude SA lady at LV on my 18th birthday... she swore that my mom and i only came in the LV store to look around and that we cant afford anything in the store because my mom is a mexican... but SHE WAS WRONG... my mommy got me a speedy. after that i never saw her working at that LV store again.

Ugh I hate rude SA's, if you dont like your job - quit, so sorry this happened to you I hope the next time you ladies go out shopping you get a wonderful SA.

This happened to me recently at the Tysons Corner LV store in Virginia. I was so put off by it that I almost left the store without buying what I had planned... I really should have. I waited forever for service and then the SA who came over just looked at me condescendingly because I asked to see a small keychain instead of a more pricey piece...

I know exactly what you mean, ive been through something similar. Doesnt it take the joy out of buying something youve been waiting to have? It makes me not want to buy it at all...or at least go to another store and buy it!

OMG that's HORRIBLE! I really don't understand how SA's get away with some of the things they do or say.

I'm sorry that some of you ladies know what I'm talking about! TPF members should take over the not-so-nice SA's jobs. [could you imagine?]

ITA Izznit! I get so excited when I go to LV and I am sure the SA thinks I am nuts, they are not rude but they do not share the kind of enthusiasm for LV that I wish they would.

~I'm sorry you both had to experience that. I def. would ask to speak to the store MGR and inform the MGR. abt. the incident. The next time you visit the SCP, please go to Bloomie-ALL the SA there are exceptionally nice and friendly

We went to bloomies before the actual store, but the selection was limited. I did notice how extremely nice and friendly they were. After we purchased the red heart coin purse, we went back to bloomies to see if they had it [didn't want to give that lady the sale] but they didn't.

And thanks to everybody else...you girls always know how to make me feel better
