Some of them have major attitude, which they shouldn't have. I doubt that someone who isnt serious about buying wouldnt be there. Even someone who is just looking, has intentions of eventually buying

I agree! They never act like they are too busy for you and are really helpful!

I'm sorry your sister's purse buying experience suffered, isn't that half the fun of getting a new purse?

OMG.. The S-A-M-E thing happened to me yesterday at LV in Santa Clara!!!!!! I asked to see a few things and she brought them and then left... waiting waiting waiting and I look over and she is talking with a co worker!! She actually left me with merchandise on the counter.. I had to actually go up to another SA and let her know before I left the store cause I was getting no service... I come back later for a purchase and waited forever for another SA I felt so stupid just standing there and the security guy was staring at me like I was going to steal something. I too had my Lv with me so they knew I was a return customer.. such bad service I will be going to another location to purchase my next handbag. I am so sorry this happened to you as well.. seems the customer service is really going downhill since I made my last purchase at the LV in Denver!

Brutal!

After reading all the horror SA stories I guess my store is the exception rather than the norm. I am so thankful for that!!

Don't mean to offend anyone, but aren't all of these SA's just salespeople like any other sales person? Certainly not to degrade anyone who is a sales associate, but come on, they're not exactly finding a cure for cancer! Some of them just need to get over it!

I agree. Just because they work in an upmarket expensive boutique doesn't mean they're of the same class. In fact, some of them have none at all.

I'm sorry that poor customer service happens anywhere, but especially at LV where we spend so much of our money. The only suggestion I have is when anyone experiences a bad customer service *moment* that you demand the SA name, or ask for the manager and their name. Then leave the boutique and write a letter including their names, what you were going to buy and why they lost the sale due to their poor customer service. Especially in the current US economy that kind of letter should get attention.

Poor customer service shouldn't happen, but when it does people need to speak up, otherwise the situation won't ever change.

~ITA w/ you abt. their selection being limited. But if there's a certain LV you're looking for and if the LV store or Saks in SCP has it then they can easily do a transfer between stores. Then you can make your purchase from Bloomie. With that being said, the next time you're visiting the SCP-please visit Bloomie and give them a chance to help you out and make your visit a PLEASANT one~

Sorry that happened to you Izznit. And yes, I do just what queenmab said above. If more of us did that, I'm sure the service at LV would improve!

I will take your advice Mi., I have not bought anything from Bloomies (LV) but I will for my next LV purchase. And to the OP, sorry for your bad experience, I have been treated bad at the Beverly Center and till this day, refuses to go back.

I don't understand why some SAs feel the need to be so rude. I've had pretty good luck at LV, but had horrific experiences elsewhere.

I was at Nordstrom not too long ago and asked for a Sergio Rossi shoe in a 39; it was too narrow so I tried the 39.5 - too narrow also.

I handed the shoes back to the SA, saying they were too narrow and he actually gave me this really rude accusatory look - like it was somehow my fault the shoes didn't fit!

I just left.
