Hi. I have been looking to buy a LV Cerises Murakami Speedy 25 and was wondering what the original retail value was of the bag? I saw a new one on ebay and they were asking around $1700 for it. Thanks.

$1700 for a cerises speedy, even in Mint condition is a bit much. You could find a Cerises Lezard for that much

Honestly, though, I do think it's fair for a new one or super-mint condition to be priced higher than the original retail. Even if it was still available at the boutique (which it's definitely not), with LV's price increases who knows what it would be priced at now!

There are several (used but very good condition ones) on eBay right now around the $1000 AU mark.

I just got one for $552

It was auctioned as "pre-owned," but it looks just like new

I do not think she used it more than twice. She even sent me the receipt that reads that the retail value was of $995

There are a few pre-owned ones on e*bay right now that are worth watching

Make sure to have them authenticated.
