A little off subject, but with regard to buying in Australia, is it easy to buy over the phone? Do they courier or post goods? Are there any risks?
Many thanks!

It is frustrating not living in a city with a LV boutique but probably safer for my savings!

The prices over the phone are correct and they do courier your items, no worries about that. I phone ordered a few times with lv and they charged $25 to each transaction. All you have to do is give your cc details.

Hi, I recently bought my very first LV the Damier Speedy 35 (love it) & when I rang & ordered it they said it could take around a week or so to get to me. Well I rang & bought it on 21/1/09 in the afternoon & the very next morning at about 9.30 am it was delivered by DHL. Now that's what I call service. I Live in Adealaide & the bag came from Sydney. I was over the moon with the service. I was a little worried at first doing it over the phone but it was just so easy I will definately do it again. I am hanging out for the Damier Neverfull when they come. So I am sure you will have no troubles at all doing a phone order. It's the only way when you don't have a store in your city. We miss out on so much in Adealaide. So good luck

Hi there! I love Adelaide - it's such a beautiful city. Do you mind if I asked you how much the Speedy was? I'm thinking about getting it - how are you loving it?! Thanks!

I bought a Speedy at the weekend. The 30 is $1020 and the 35 is $1060.

SPIRITEDAWAY. My Damier Speedy 35 I purchased 21/01/09 was $1060 plus $25 courier costs. Well worth it. I love it to bits & wish I hadn't waited so long to get it.I bought it just after the last price increase. I was kicking myself because when I rang the week or so before it was $990 so I had to pay $70 extra for it but still worth every cent. Adelaide is a great city but we just need a Louis Vuitton store & it would be perfect.

I checked my invoice and the purchase date of my Damier Speedy 35 was 13 January 09. I made it just before the increase, but I haven't been so fortunate w/other LV purchases.
