I think we're missing the point on these. The comments in the other thread make me think people think the kinds of people who knit these are knitting them to be wannabe's instead of buying an authentic LV and I am willing to bet that's not the case. I think they're meant to be funny...as if they (the knitters) are mocking us. I can see some people I know knitting and wearing these to be funny...I see the humor in them, especially if I was carrying a LV and a friend was carrying the knit version. Absolutely hysterical as she mocks me for my real LV.

I find it to be a brilliant marketing strategy (ahem) that this woman decided to sell a pair of fake/real/who knows Chanel pumps, and photograph them with this hideous fake. There's a brilliant idea!
