Okay - I was at a high end consignment shop this afternoon. They had a gorgeous slightly used Murakami Speedy, clearly authentic - medium, but even patina - going for $400.00. I checked it out very carefully - clearly authentic. I think they probably didn't realize what these retail for. They are asking $400.00 which is a great price.

The problem is I think I'm too old for this bag - on the other hand - it's in beautiful condition - Arrggh - what to do? I imagine I'll have to make a decision quickly - someone is going to scoop this up - I saw it right before they closed today. They said they had just put it out.

You could also turn a profit on Ebay!

I'm just torn because I just bought a new wallet and some other things and I would be stretching it if I go ahead tomorrow - on the other hand - what a deal! Even if I bought it and sold it for a little more - someone would get a gorgeous bag - ARRGHH! My daughter pronounced it tacky. It wasn't one I've been looking for - but boy it was really pretty - in beautiful shape - beautiful inside as well. Nice color combination. The only water spot I saw anywhere was about the size of a pencil tip on the little leather piece that hangs down. The handles had a beautiful shiny, fairly even patina - just barely darker on the top of the handles.

As long as it's definitely authentic, go ahead! If you don't use/need it, you can always sell it.

I know - I know - I'm thinking!!!!!!!! They open at 10:00. I'm going to go in then again - . . . . I'll let you know what I do. I think I've decided I will only get it if I actually love it - it's still $400.00 (I want to love it for that price regardless of whether it's a steal or not - if that makes sense!). I don't want to buy a bag I don't really really love and then keep telling myself to wear it later because it was a steal (which I know that it is).

A bargain isn't a bargain unless you absolutely love the bag. Go on your instinct otherwise it's money wasted. But if you get in there again and love it, then it's a fantastic bargain!

get it!!! as said above, even if you don't like it, you could always sell it for a somewhat big profit on ebay.
