HK is definitely cheaper. I bought in Jan, and checked both HK and macau.

I think they are very similar, maybe even the same.
but yea, HK have greater selections?
HK price is pretty much the same as US before tax (so same as if you buy from eLux in most states)

if you r going to shop in Hong Kong, i would go to Central landmark/IFC
don't go to the Tsim Sha Tsui Ocean Terminal LV (the newst large building)
just cos TST have so many ppl. Sometimes there is a line outside the store, and you don't get as good service as the stores in Central. you can get more personal attention in Cental.

Just an advice. Maybe TST store changed it.

Macau is $10-$25 more expensive once everything is converted into USD.

I agree with thunder0896's advice to go to the boutique in Central's Landmark rather than one on Canton Road in TST. Less crowded and more personalized service. The Landmark is also willing to do heat stamping while you wait. Try to avoid either boutique on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays as both get to get very crowded.

thank you for your answers! i have prices of some bags in hong kong, and tried to call the macau stores to get prices for comparison.. but they said they can't release prices over the phone. i might visit hong kong for my next lvs then..i sure hope they won't be having any price increases soon.

thanks again!

The LV in Central is actually at The Landmark, not the IFC Mall. There are so many great malls in Hong Kong, it's easy to get them confused.

I've been to HK and Macau over 10 times each my whole life and it is my educated guess that they bring in 50,000 US Dollars in sales each day.

They're a lot of Asians buying LV on any given day. Pretty a-maz-in...

Me too, am planning to go Hong Kong mid Aug after my exams.
Gonna save for those LVs.. Haha!

Silly question, but is there any additional charges for heat stamping?
