I always thought Louis Vuitton was a lot more expensive in China, my SA confirmed that, but she also said that Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong isn't that much more expensive than in Europe.... I'm traveling to Hong Kong this summer... can anyone confirm this?

I've seen many many people come from mainland (China) almost everyday that shopping at LV, so i guess the price must be cheaper compare to the mainland.

Not sure about the rest of Europe, but shopping in France is definitely cheaper than HK because of the VAT refund.

Here's the HK LV hotline 852-81001182, you can ask them about the price. (prepare the code number cos that would be much easier)

I think Europe would be a cheaper place to shop since I know the price is less than the price here in Canada and to compare Canada and HK; HK price was a little bit higher, i know that as a fact because I have just recently return from HK.

mainland china is at least 20% more expensive than HK. So buy in HK. There's not much of a huge difference between HK and France imo.

Louis Vuitton is at least 30% to 50% more expensive in Beijing and Shanghai than USA. I was there last fall. Even Chanel is much more expensive than USA considering that most of their stock is already on sale or long gone here in USA. Hong Kong's pricing is almost similar to USA pricing before the sales tax. I bought a Speedy 40 bag for around $700 US dollars in Hong Kong and if I had purchased it in NY, it would have been $750 something after the sales tax.

Macau is a few bucks cheaper than HK.
