Default i've spent $1000's with elux & tonight they BLACKLISTED me

i'm so upset; i'm teary-eyed and furious.

in the past, eLux has sent me shamefully used & defective louis vuitton handbags, but i continued to stay loyal and purchase from them, partly because i liked their service and also there are no local boutiques.

i've spent thousands of dollars w/ eLUXURY and tonight the sales rep informed me that i cannot shop at their store ever again. i assume it's due to my exchanging 5 defective, used, and missing strapped bags (since 2006).

i've exchanged the following w/ eLux:
batignolles horizontal - due to a missing key ring
batignolles horizontal - stained vachette on handle
montaigne clutch - missing strap
vernis french purse - crooked embossing/folded incorrectly
roxbury drive - sent me the wrong color

the sales rep was very cold and impersonal. we were in the process of figuring out why eLux lost my exchange order, and the rep says, "what was your cvs # on your charge card, uhm, hmmm, can you hold a minute..." i was on hold for 15 minutes when she finally came back and said i was banned and "thanks for calling eLUXURY."

AHHH, the nerve of that woman! i asked if i could talk to her manager and the rep told me that the manager was the one who authorized the ban, but i insisted to speak with the manager, so the sales rep put me on hold. when she came back, i was informed the manager was "busy" (more like scarred to confront a loyal customer and tell them they can no longer purchase from an online store). the manager was supposed to call me within 5 minutes, but that was 40 minutes ago.

WOW! Let us know if they ever call you back. You mentioned an exchange order. Have you gotten a full credit back on the item you returned? I hope this works out for you...this is ridiculous.

keep calling that is absolutely disgraceful

BF once got bad service at a car place he said he'd call back every 15 minutes as he kept getting the he's busy message too the called at 15 mins, than at 30mins and told the receptionist he was moving it up to every 5 mins next call he got the manager sometimes being a PITA works

That is terrible! How can they treat you that way!?

I once received a used Speedy from them. It had what looked like newspaper ink all over the handles. After that, I figured I'm better off shopping at the store and just paying the dang tax!

Instead of blacklisting people, they should be doublechecking items before they send it!!! That's so stupid of them. I would definitely write a letter of complaint followed with phone calls. Hope they apologize like they should.

Wow, that is just unbelievable! If they're having quality issues that's 100% their fault and they have the audacity to ban you? I would continue to call them back until you speak to someone higher up and give them a piece of your mind!

I absolutely hate it when I receive bad customer service. I'm not spending my money to get attitude from a SA or anything less than what I pay for, as in defective or damaged merchandise. This seems to be especially common over the phone. Besides a customer, SA relationship, I just don't understand how people can be so rude as one human communicating to another.

I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience and I really hope this matter is resolved!

Reading everyone else's eLux complaints has definitely made me rethink buying from them. I recently purchased a mini pochette off of eLux and there was some glue spots that, for the most part, I was able to rub off...but I don't think I will be purchasing from them in the future.

WOW! I am shocked that this would be allowed. TERRIBLE customer service. You should call LV 866 and file a complaint against eLUXURY's service.

There seem to be a lot of people having problems with eLux lately, esp. with defective items. I've only purchased something from them once, but I have to say, it was defective merchandise. I bought a pair of Pucci shoes, and on one, the entire interior sole slid right off of the shoe the first time I put them on! They took the shoes back without complaint, but after hearing yet another horror story, I definitely will avoid them in the future.
