That is ridiculous. I would say switch to purchasing directly from LV now that they are on line or going through NM or Saks.

That is ridiculous...It seems like ever day there is a new story from a TPF'er about bad service from e-lux...I would definitely stick to a store where you can see the items before purchasing

Yikes, that is totally out of line! I would continue to call until you get in touch with a manager that will satisfy your request and treat you with respect as you deserve.

I assume you live in one of the 50 states. Your state has a consumer protection agency and I recommend that you file a complaint with that agency. You can also complain to the Better Business Bureau. eLux is a member organization, which means there will definitely be follow-up. Here's the link to the BBB's web-page about Elux which shows that there is a complaint history: http://goldengate.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Re...116&firm=36069 There is also a phone number for the President's office, which means you can bypass the customer service BS.

Sorry to hear that it happened to you. Hopefully things turn out better tomorrow. I totally understand your pain; there is no local boutique in my city either so I have to rely on eLux.
I am just curious, in addition to those 5 bags that you had to exchange, how many other bags did you successfully receive in a perfect condition the first time they sent you? If there are many, please be sure to let the manager know.

Seems like everyday there is a problem with the merchandise eLux is sending out.
I would write a letter to the President of that division, with a cc to the president of LVMH.

OMG!!! They suck!! I received 2 used items from them.....I didn't get banned and they were apologetic about it. Keep calling and demand to speak to a manager. I'm so sorry!! Don't shop at vuitton.com. They're connected......I returned something to vuitton.com and it goes straight to eLux. The items I got from vuitton.com were also defective.

I would give them a call Monday morning. Ask to speak to a supervisor.
Do not be confrontational, instead take the approach of "you all must have me confused with someone else."
& "despite the quality control issues at eLux, I have continued to order from you. In fact, I am surprised that you are all even having such problems considering the market you serve."

Then write a letter summarizing your conversation and how it went.

wow that is absolutely shocking! i can see them being upset if you returned 5 times in one month. but in a span of over a year?! that's just ridiculous. i would definitely file a complaint.

i 100% agree with restricter's suggestion of getting the BBB involved.
