How do I place myself on the Damier Neverfull wait list??

Do I need to pay half or some other price to put myself on a waiting list? I've never put myself on an LV wait list before...always bought on the spot. I'm always the last one to buy!!

You need to give your info & credit card # to a SA. Unless you already have a good relationship with a SA, then he/she might hold it for you without a CC # for a day or two.

Why do you have to put a CC# on file because whenever I call I just have to tell them my name and they will put it on hold for me.

If they have your CC they charge you as soon as it comes in and you are almost guaranteed the item. When I have waitlisted without a CC I had to hound them for the item whereas they would have it ready and waiting when I had left a CC. Sometimes if you have worked with an SA for a while they will call and hold it for you for a day or two. It depends on the item.

you have 2 options. first, you can just call up the store and say you want to be put on the waiting list for the neverfull. or, you can call and be added to the waitlist with your CC#. giving your CC is telling the store that you will be picking up the item upon release and that you are very serious about this. the 2nd way is more for items that you know you will take home with you....the first way is for when you're not 100% sure you'll like it or not.

I was never asked for my CC. I've been on the list for over year. I hope they keep track of the number of times I've called to ensure that I'm still on the list.

Wow, that's weard since I just wailtist by calling them and not giving CC # or anything and they call me whenever it gets in and they put it on hold without asking me to charge my CC first :P

well this is just my experience dealing with waitlists. if you give your CC# you're put on a priority waitlist. people on this list get first dibs on new releases. once they've gone through this list they move on to the list of people who just submit their contact info.

People who give CC's get higher spots on the WL (unless you have a very special relationship with an SA, then they may bump you without but to have that relationship you are probably the type that buys most things they WL for anyway). You're never obligated to take the item, you can get a charge back right away if you decide you don't want it.

Well I don't know but could be different here in Europe, since I don't shop at the same boutique so I don't have an regular SA and I am always on top of the list :P, but I do always find the nicest SA because I WL for the Grphite messenger last thursday with someone I never spoke he called me yesterday to say they got the first batch and that he put it on hold till saturday. now I can't go pick it up and he said no problem next time you come to the boutique call me about a week before and I will try to get the bag for you

Some store will say they don't need your CC. but then depend your SA, some will ask for your CC. That way you will for sure get your bag. since they can charge it for you. Make sure you just call the store and leve your CC. Then you can just patiencely wait for your turn.

Depend on the popularity of the bag.. sometimes the wait can be long... so prepare!!
you can ask them how many ppl are ahead of you, that will give you an idea.

since Damier NF is permanent item, then you shouldn't worry.. it will be just the matter of time..... you will get it in your hands
